  • The percentage of 16-18 year olds not in employment, education or training has increased slightly from 8.4 per cent in 1994 to 9.4 per cent in 2007.  However, although not directly comparable owing to different data sources, the proportion in 2007 is lower than the 10.7 per cent seen in 1990.
  • The proportion has decreased in each of the last two years.
