Environmental equality - East of England

Populations living in areas with, in relative terms, the least favourable environmental conditions, in the East of England, 2001-06

  • No people living in the least deprived areas experience 3 or more environmental conditions that are ‘least favourable’. Around 1 per cent of the population in the most deprived areas experience 3 or more environmental conditions that are 'least favourable'.  This rises to 5 per cent of people when considering the second most deprived band of areas.
